Poem: The Myth About Uncertainty

The world is turning;
today, tomorrow, or the next day,
who knows what it may bring.
We hope with time comes certainty,
so our minds would have us think.

But what if we turned that on it’s axis,
Peered at it from every curious angle;
Took that belief, that thought,
And said, ‘Really? But what if that’s not so?.'

So if time doesn’t bring certainty,
then who or what does?
Is it our mind that just thinks it to be true,
Our intuition that just feels resonant, and in-tune,
Or something ironically, unknown?

Wherever that solid strength lies,
I know this to be the truth;
That whenever I choose to set my self-faith,
and turn to this beautiful, natural earth,
A strange thing starts to take place.

I believe that it will be a great day.
I believe that we will be able to do all that we desire.
I believe that joy, love (and money) will be shared and received.
I believe we all have the capacity to serve and inspire.
I believe in creative spirit, not one God, but our inner soul.

Certainty doesn’t always have to be withheld,
To another day later, when all the research is done.
Simply listen in, to your wilder self,
Just look out, to the energy of the earth,
To hear, the truth you need.
