At times in my writing, I share stories from my own life, creative and business process, that also illustrates that I go through similar experiences and challenges (albeit at different times) that I help my clients go through too.
As a Coach, you don't have to have had the same experience, to know how to coach someone else professionally. But boy, does it increase your empathy and desire to help when you know what it feels like to go through the same; to have that same goal or desire and know how to reach it; to know how it feels to have the same challenge and have been able to cope with it and push past it.
You might not feel comfortable yet sharing your true story behind your business brand or your creative professional persona, as it can feel vulnerable to show your own journey and process.
Even now, after doing it for years, I still feel a bit raw when I share more of my truth. But for me, when I go to an art gallery, sometimes the "art" I love most, is the description behind why the art was made. How the artist was inspired, influenced and pushed through no matter what, to get to the point they produced the art and the goods that impact us now.
I'm not saying we're all fine artists, but you bet your bottom dollar that every woman (and man) in this Wild Women Do community is a damn fine creative, with a heap of ideas bursting to be released. We are all creative souls whose life has been shaping our creativity from the day we were born.
Let your story be expressed. Let your art be told.
Love, Marie x
